2025 TTCAN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Table Tennis Canada 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Saturday 13 September 2025 online via ZOOM.

Here are the main decisions taken by the AGM and points of interest:

Recognized the unexpected qualification of the U19 Girls team to the 2025 World Youth Championships to be held in Romania in November 2025.
Received the Board of Director’s report for 2024-2025.
Set the Board of Director’s election for 15 November 2025 to conform to the new proposed Board composition
Discussed the negative impact of Sport Canada’s cuts to national sports associations.
Approved the Audited Financial Statements for 2024-2025.
Received the 2025-26 TTCAN Budget (version 2).
Appointed “Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton” as TTCAN’s auditors for 2025-26.
Set the TTCAN membership fees for 2026 at $400 per member association.
Recognized the updated list of committee members.
Received the annual reports from the Athletes Commission and the GE-EDI Committee.
Elected Darek Mikita of Manitoba as the Chair of the Members Council for 2025-27.
Confirmed the Nominating Committee and the Audit & Finance Committee for 2025-26.
Awarded the hosting of the 2026 Canadian Championships to Manitoba (Winnipeg).
Charged the Board of Directors with the responsibility to set a date and place for the 2026 Canadian ParaTT Championships.
Conditionally reinstated the Alberta Table tennis Association as a member of TTCAN.
Amended the TTCAN Bylaws regarding the composition of the Board of Directors.
Recognized all the Annual Awards recipients (2025) and the Special Service Awards recipients.
