Mo Zhang won the Bronze Medal at the 2025 Pan American Championships being held in Rock-Hill, USA, on 12-19 October, 2025. Mo lost to Bruna Takahashi of Brazil 2-4 in the semi-final. Adriana Diaz of Puerto Rico won the Gold Medal defeating Takahashi in the finals.
In the men’s Singles, 1st seed Hugo Calderano of Brazil defeated 2nd seed Kanak Jha of the USA 4-1 to win the Gold Medal.
Amongst Canadians, only Mo won a medal. However, the good news for Canada is that both Men and Women Canadian Teams qualified for the 2026 World Team Championships by reaching the top 6 at the Pan Am Championships.
The World Team Championships will be held in London, England, clebrating the 100th anniversary of the ITTF, and the first World Championships held in London, England, in 1926.
