A working Group composed of Najam Chishti, Rémi Tremblay, Dejan Papic and Marles Martins were asked to meet and propose a new date for the combined Canadian Championships (Junior and Senior), which is not in conflict with the National Team program and provides sufficient time for the pandemic lockdowns and curfews to end.

The proposed date of 30 September to 3 October 2021 was accepted by the Board of Directors at its meeting on 6 May 2021. In case it is not possible to hold the Championships at the new date due to restrictions caused by the Pandemic, an alternate date in January 2022 will be reserved.

The bid to host the Championship is re-opened and all interested Member associations are invited to bid based on the new dates. All other conditions remain the same.

The bid document and details can be obtained from TTCAN’s Technical Development Manager, Marles Martins: marles@ttcanada.ca

The deadline to receive bids is 31 May 2021.

The 2020 Canadian Championships were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The last Canadian Championships were held in 2019 in March for Seniors in Markham, ON, and in July for Juniors in Summerside, PEI.
