The Québec Table Tennis Federation hosted an Introduction to Competition course from November 15-17, 2019. A fantastic opportunity to certify more coaches in the Province, but even better, when two Provinces open the possibility to also include Saskatchewan’s Technical Director Paul Noel in co-facilitating the workshop.

“So great to see two Provinces come together for the better of the sport” says Chair of the Coaching Committee and Board of Director Thorsten Gohl. He continuous “It showcases endless opportunities and possibilities when working together. Good things will happen for our sport.”

Saskatchewan’s Paul Noel still needed to co-facilitate the Introduction to Competition Basic course to being able to facilitate it in the future by himself. Mathieu Lecapitaine and the Québec Federation said directly that it would be no problem for Paul to support this course.

Facilitator for the workshop Mathieu added “Paul he is very comfortable to deliver the workshop, he has so much knowledge about the sport and I am convinced that he will be an excellent learning facilitator.”

There will be more opportunities to finish the education process in 2020, getting more coaches educated, having more facilitators and evaluators in place.
