The Canadian Team to the 2023 Pan American Championships is already in Havana, Cuba, getting ready for the start of the competition on 10 September 2023.
The women are led by experienced Zhang Mo. The rest of the team is young and eager to perform: Ivy Liao, Fiona Nie and Jessie Xu.
Similarly, the men are led by Canada’s No.1, Eugene Wang. He will lead Edward Ly, Siméon Martin and Matthew Lehmann.
The top 2 teams for each gender will qualify for the Team Event at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. This makes the Team event a very important competition. Canada is seeded 5th in the men and 4th in the women.
