A group of self-funded Canadian players, parents and coaches participated in the U11 and U13 Pan American Championships in Mosquera, Colombia, 9-15 October 2023, and then stayed on in Masquera to take part in the 2023 WTT Youth Contender event, 17-20 October 2023.
All the players have good results and gained a lot of experience.
Congratulations to Olivia Huang for winning Gold in the U13 event at the WTT Youth Contender. She defeated Abigail Yu of the USA 3-2. This is a great result at the international level.
Also, congratulations to Sunny Zhang who reached the semi-finals of the U13 only to lose to her compatriot, Olivia Huang, 1-3.
