The 2024 World Team Championships (WTTTC) will be held in Busan, Korea, on 16-25 February 2024.
SELECTION:
Three women and three men are pre-selected as follows:
- Women: 1. Mo Zhang, 2. Ivy Liao and 3. Jessie Xu
- Men: 1. Eugene Wang, 2. Edward Ly and 3. Siméon Martin
- Confirmed National Team players will compete in the selection tournament (trials) to be held on 9-10 December 2023 at the My TT Club in Mississauga.
- A limited number of non-national team players with a minimum Rating of 2200 for men and 1600 for women have been accepted in the tournament.
- The winner of the trials will get the 4th spot (partially funded) and the 2nd from the trials will get the 5th spot on the team (self-funded) for each gender.
More information:
- Out of town (more than 100 km) non-National Team players who make the team will be reimbursed their travel cost.
- The general schedule is as follows:
Friday 8 December: Practice 6 to 10 pm
Saturday 9 December: Competition 9 am to 9 pm
Sunday 10 December: Competition 9 am to 4 pm
