Greg Dzioba has been selected to attend the 2020 Qatar Open in Doha from March 3 to 8, 2020.
Greg lives in Manitoba and has been passionate for more than 30 years to the sport of table tennis. He has contributed to local events as an organizer, umpire and referee. He has attended every major event in Canada including Provincial Championship, National Juniors, National Seniors and Canada Games.
Greg moved though the 5 levels as an umpire to reach the Blue Badge status. Of the more than 5000 International Umpires in the world, Greg is considered one of the best and has been attending International events for many years. Most recently Greg officiated at the 2019 ITTF Challenge and the North American Open which took place in Markham, Ontario in Dec 2019. Previously he was was selected to attend the Australian Open 2018 (picture above) and represented Canada admirably.
Greg’s future continues to shine with his selection to the Paralympics in Japan this August 2020.
