A new simplified point system was used to establish the new National Team list. This point system applies to all national team categories (Seniors, U19,U15 and U13).
The Seniors list will be produced at a later date due to the cancellation of the Canadian Championships in Hay River because of wildfires and evacuations.
For the current age groups” list, the point-threshold to be included in the team is 700 points. This threshold may change with time. Also, all semi-finalists at the 2023 Canadian Junior Championships are automatically included regardless of the points.
There are 6 provinces with players on the age-group national team. Of note is the inclusion of New Brunswick for the first time with Oliver Woodworth.
