Partnership with Provincial and Territorial Associations
Table Tennis Canada is committed to supporting Provincial and Territorial Table Tennis Associations (PTSOs) in their coaching development efforts. In light of the challenges posed by the pandemic, we are partnering with PTSOs to facilitate Community Sports Initiation, Introduction to Competition, and Competition Development workshops. This collaboration aims to ensure that coaching development continues effectively across the country.
Workshop Structure and Requirements
The workshops will be delivered in a Virtual and Blended format, combining online theory sessions with practical, in-person experiences. Each PTSO is encouraged to organize groups to participate in these workshops, ensuring that coaches have access to the necessary equipment and facilities.
Requirements for Workshops:
– Table Tennis specific equipment
– Adequate IT setup (good internet connection, camera, microphone, screen/projector)
– Community Sports Initiation workshops will require additional equipment such as soft balls, balloons, and targets
For any questions or to sign up for the courses, please contact Marles Martins at marles@ttcanada.ca.
