The Canadian girls U19 team arrived in Cluj, Romania, and started practicing before the start of the 2025 World Youth Championships to be held on 23-29 November 2025.
Only 12 teams take part in the Team Events based on world-wide qualifications and the ITTF Team Ranking. Our team is ranked 39th in the World, therefore, will be seeded 12th (last). Canada was not expected to qualify, but winning the Pan American Junior Championships secured a sport amongst the 12 qualified teams.
The team is coached by Raymond Zhang of Three-Ten TT Club (ON) and accompanied by TTCAN’s Vice President, Betty Zareba (100% at her own cost).
TTCAN wishes the team all the best.
