Mo Zhang and Ivy Liao won the silver medal at the 2023 Pan American Championships being held in Cuba from 10 to 17 September 2023.
Participants experienced a lot of difficulties due to some organisational issues. The hotel is 40 minutes away by bus, and the schedule is tight not allowing the particioants to go back to the hotel for lunch. Matches ended after 10 pm most nights and no food is availan=ble at the competition venue.
Mo and Ivy lost in the final to Adriana Diaz and Melanie Diaz of Puerto Rico 1-3.
The team events start today (14 September) and for the next 3 days.
