The table tennis competition at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, has started on 29 October 2023 and will continue till 5 November 2023.
The Canadian team arrived in Santiago on 26 October after a preparatory training camp in Mississauga.
The table tennis competition starts with the doubles. The Mixed doubles are a direct qualification (top 2) for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Canada is represented as follows:
Women’s Team: Mo ZHANG, Ivy LIAO and Jessie XU.
Men’s Team: Eugene WANG, Edward LY and Siméon MARTIN.
Mixed Doubles: Eugene WANG and Mo ZHANG
Women’s Doubles: Ivy LIAO and Jessie XU
Men’s Doubles: Edward LY and Siméon MARTIN
Coaches: Wei Jianren (women) and Maxime Surprenant (men)
