The Canada Games Council has announced that the 2027 Canada Winter Games will take place in Québec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027 — marking a return to the birthplace of the Canada Games, which first began there in 1967.
This will be Québec’s fourth time hosting the Games, having previously welcomed the nation in 1967 (Québec City), 1983 (Saguenay–Lac-St-Jean), and 2013 (Sherbrooke).
A National Stage for Table Tennis
The 2027 Canada Winter Games present an incredible opportunity for Canada’s top young table tennis athletes to compete on a national, multi-sport stage. For many, it’s not only a competition — it’s a chance to represent their province or territory and demonstrate the dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship that make this sport so powerful.

Competition Dates: March 2–6, 2027
Venue: To be confirmed by the Host Society
Events:
- Boys’ & Girls’ Team Events
- Boys’ & Girls’ Singles
- Mixed Doubles
Team Composition:
Each province or territory may enter 3 boys and 3 girls
Support Staff: Up to 2 coaches
Age Eligibility: Athletes must be born in 2008 or later (U19)
