On behalf of the TTCAN Board of Directors, I would like to sincerely thank the “Reflexe Laval TT Club”, under the leadership of Roxane Borgès and her team, for hosting very successful national events over this past weekend: “2023 Target Group Team 28/32” tournament, and the “U15/U19 Pan American selection” tournament. Both events were concluded successfully with the help of the officials and club volunteers.
I would like to thank The Quebec Table Tennis Federation, represented by Rémi Tremblay, for supporting the Club and helping with the events.
Without the umpires and referees these tournaments would not be possible. I would like to thank Denis Vigeant (Referee) and his team of officials for providing a smooth competition with 312 matches. I also thank the control desk Manager, John Chen, for coming from Toronto to manage the results system.
Many thanks to the group of selected umpires from Ontario and Quebec, but also to the many local volunteer umpires who agreed to help over the weekend.
Finally, I would like to thank the competition manager, Marles Martins, for his tireless work in the preparation and implementation of these two very important events.
We now look forward to the Pan American Games selection tournament (Trials) to be held in Mississauga on 2-4 June 2023.
